Overview
Support the M&E Analyst in delivering Programme-wide M&E activities to strengthen the Programme’s monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning function.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and refinement of M&E framework(s).
- Support the planning and implementation of monitoring activities.
- Prepare project operational and administrative reports.
- Support the preparation and implementation of a Monitoring and Evaluation Plan.
- Verify that all Project interventions are monitored according to the monitoring plan.
- Track Issues/Challenges and Risk logs.
- Lead the coordination of a MEAL system, including surveys, evaluation tools, After Action Reviews and feedback mechanisms.
- Provide cross-functional Project support to coordinate data collection and analysis from field visits.
- Support the monitoring of equipment delivery, installation and commissioning.
- Support the management of routine data collection, including data entry.
- Support the planning of mid-term and ad-hoc evaluations.
- Assist in the overall implementation and management of evaluation policies, strategies and processes.
- Support the development and implementation of online and offline data collection tools.
- Ensure quality contributions to UNDP annual Results-Oriented Annual Report (ROAR).
- Support the process of UNDP reporting systems by documenting M&E information.
- Support in the identification and formulation of evaluation findings, lessons learned.
- Assist in the implementation of Evaluation, Knowledge Management and Learning strategies.
- Promoting good practice in relation to Gender, Sex, Age, and Disability.
- Support in collaboration and coordination with other UN agencies, government agencies, NGOs, and other organizations.
- Keeping abreast of latest development and professional norms, standards, tools and methodologies in context of M&E methodologies and best practice.
- Perform other relevant functions as requested.
Required Experience
Minimum 7 years (with Secondary Education) or 4 years (with a Bachelor’s Degree) of relevant experience, at the national or international level, in M&E, reporting and results based management or related area. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems.
Qualifications
Secondary Education is required OR A university degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Computer Science, Information Management, or related field will be given due consideration, but not a requirement.
