Overview
Support the implementation of the SCS Communication strategy by coordinating sector-wide actions and digital communication priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Sector’s events and priorities, primarily in English and French.
- Support the planning, development, and implementation of communication for events, initiatives, and International Days.
- Provide communication support for cross-cutting initiatives.
- Coordinate updates to the UNESCO Calendar of Events and other planning tools.
- Maintain updated the calendar of events for the SCS Sector.
- Contribute to the development of digital communication to enhance visibility and stakeholder engagement.
- Draft and prepare online communication materials, including flyers, web stories, and visual assets.
- Coordinate the editing, translation, and online publication of content.
- Ensure the regular maintenance and updating of web content.
- Coordinate the consolidation, quality control, and timely submission of briefing materials.
- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of events and engagements.
- Design a pamphlet on the collaboration between La Caixa Foundation and UNESCO MOST.
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant professional work experience in communications, print media, digital and social media, public relations, or other relevant fields of work.
Qualifications
Advanced University Degree (Master's or equivalent) in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Cultural or Social Sciences or other relevant fields of study.
