Overview
Provide independent technical oversight, quality assurance, and engineering support for the renovation of TVET Care Centers under the KURA NAWE Program.
Key Responsibilities
- Review relevant technical and project documentation.
- Conduct technical assessments and site visits.
- Assess the suitability of identified facilities and proposed renovation approaches.
- Provide technical advice and recommendations.
- Conduct technical reviews and site inspections of renovation works.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections.
- Review completed renovation works.
- Identify and document defects, deficiencies, non-compliance issues, implementation risks, or quality concerns and recommend corrective actions.
- Review relevant site records and provide technical feedback.
- Participate in technical meetings.
- Document findings through site inspection notes, photographs, and technical reports.
- Prepare technical monitoring, inspection, and assessment reports.
Required Experience
- Strong technical assessment and analytical skills.
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
- Ability to assess compliance between completed works and contractual requirements.
- Ability to work independently and deliver quality outputs within agreed timelines.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Masters) in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
