Support UN Women in strengthening Gender-Responsive Budgeting (GRB) capacities by developing a workplan, preparing and facilitating GRB trainings, and providing technical assistance to government institutions.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in gender equality, public finance management, public sector reform, or related areas. Demonstrated technical expertise in government public finance policies and processes and GRB, including knowledge of budget processes, gender analysis in public finance, and GRB methodologies and tools, evidenced through at least four (4) similar assignments involving training design and/or delivery. At least 5 years of experience in designing and delivering trainings, presentations, or facilitated learning sessions for adult audiences, including civil servants and technical staff, in multicultural and multi-stakeholder environments. Working/consulting experience with government institutions and international organizations/projects will be considered an asset.
Master’s degree in economics, public finance, social sciences or another relevant field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
