Overview
The HR Associate provides leadership in the execution of HR services, ensuring transparency and integrity, and promoting a collaborative, client-oriented approach to maintain high staff morale.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures administration and implementation of HR strategies and policies, adapting processes and procedures.
- Organizes recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, screening candidates, and participating in interview panels.
- Administers human resources, including creation/update of positions, contract administration, and leave management.
- Monitors and tracks HR transactions, maintains the CO staffing table, and administers international staff entitlements.
- Facilitates the performance appraisal process and participates in the preparation of learning plans.
- Conducts salary and other surveys, collecting information and preparing reports.
- Facilitates knowledge building and knowledge sharing in the CO, organizing training and synthesizing lessons learned.
Required Experience
- Minimum 7 years (with Secondary Education) or 4 years (with bachelor´s degree) of progressively responsible HR and/or administrative experience is required at the national or international level.
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and experience in handling web-based management systems.
- Experience with recruitment processes.
- Experience with administration of HR processes such as performance management, learning and development, salaries and benefits.
Qualifications
Secondary Education is required. University Degree (bachelor´s degree) in HR, Business, or Public Administration will be given due consideration, but it is not a requirement.
