Overview
The role involves supporting Animal Health Technicians (AHTs) in their business development and providing coaching and technical assistance to enhance their primary animal healthcare businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated technical support to AHTs.
- Deliver presentations on business coaching progress.
- Organize bi-weekly meetings with AHTs.
- Monitor AHTs' business development and provide progress updates.
- Provide support services to AHT cohorts.
- Follow up on AHTs who received equipment and provide monthly updates.
- Review business plans and assist with AHTs business profiles.
- Support the development and review of starter kit specifications.
- Present AHTs starter kit requirements to committees.
- Support efforts to mobilize resources for AHT businesses.
- Prepare monthly reports on AHT progress.
- Participate in monthly meetings with FAO team and live calls/webinars.
Required Experience
A minimum of 3 years working experience in animal health discipline.
Qualifications
- For Consultants: Advanced university degree from an institution recognized by the International Association of Universities (IAU)/UNESCO in Veterinary Science. Consultants with a bachelor's degree need two additional years of relevant professional experience.
- For PSA: University degree (or technical degree/certificate) from an institution recognized by the International Association of Universities (IAU)/UNESCO in Veterinary Science.
