Overview

International consultancy to support the analysis of alternative and flexible learning pathways for out-of-school children in Indonesia.


Key Responsibilities
  • Mapping of relevant policies related to non-formal education (NFE) quality improvement.
  • Examining international good practices to benchmark Indonesia NFE’s policies and curricula.
  • Identifying opportunities to further incorporate Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) dimensions into NFE policies and curriculum framework.
  • Exploring other flexible and relevant learning pathways for out-of-school children (OOSC) outside the NFE system.
Required Experience

Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible relevant experience in the field of education, especially on non-formal education (equivalency programme) implementation or other alternative learning pathway/s for out-of-school children. Relevant education background and professional experience in education sector development at regional and/or global level. Experience in providing technical support for education sector related research in Indonesia, comprehensive data collection and analysis and report development is an advantage. Experience in engaging or facilitating consultation with key education stakeholders at both national and subnational levels.

Qualifications

At least master’s degree in social science or other relevant fields.
