Overview
The World Bank Group is seeking an Extended Term Consultant to support the Evaluation and Learning team of the Climate Investment Funds. The role will contribute to evaluations, research, and reports supporting CIF programs and thematic areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing research support including background analysis, sourcing data, and co-developing knowledge and communications pieces.
- Supporting the development and delivery of learning events (on-line and in-person).
- Supporting new knowledge generation including evaluations, case studies, thematic reviews, and innovation focused consultations.
- Preparing briefs, background notes, talking points, and presentations.
- Cataloguing, organizing, and presenting existing CIF knowledge products.
- Proactively seeking opportunities for collaboration with key CIF stakeholders and external agencies.
- Developing and implementing dissemination strategies for E&L knowledge products.
- Support the ongoing work of the Transformational Change Learning Partnership (TCLP).
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in economics, environmental studies, social sciences, or related fields.
- Experience working in, and knowledge of the policies and procedures of, the World Bank Group or other multilateral development bank policies and procedures would be helpful.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Energy policy, International development, Public Policy or other related discipline.
