Overview
Serve as a key focal point for engagement with government ministries, agencies, and donors to support project implementation and strategic partnerships. Coordinate project planning, monitoring, and financial management, and oversee the digital agriculture component.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a key focal point for engagement with government ministries, agencies, and KOICA.
- Maintain regular communication with government counterparts and donors.
- Coordinate and prepare official correspondence, meeting briefs, talking points, presentations, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Represent WFP in relevant meetings and coordination forums.
- Coordinate the planning, monitoring, and management of the KOICA project budget.
- Oversee expenditure levels, budget utilization, and financial forecasts.
- Coordinate with various units to facilitate timely financial processing.
- Support financial information and analysis for donor reports and management updates.
- Support the review of cooperating partner financial reports.
- Maintain appropriate financial tracking tools.
- Coordinate and oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the project’s digital agriculture component.
- Liaise with relevant institutions, partners, and technical units for digital activities.
- Monitor the progress, quality, risks, and contractual deliverables of digital service providers.
- Support the development of arrangements for data governance and system sustainability.
- Promote accessible digital solutions.
- Lead the development of potential funding opportunities for Phase 2 of the KOICA-funded project.
- Coordinate inputs for the Phase 2 proposal.
- Support donor engagement and partnership mapping.
- Contribute to the development of other funding opportunities.
- Support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and operational coordination of the KOICA-funded project.
- Contribute to the preparation of donor, government, and internal reports.
- Support coordination with technical teams, Field Offices, and cooperating partners.
- Contribute to knowledge management and ensure cross-cutting considerations are reflected in project implementation.
Required Experience
- At least six years of professional experience in international development, programme or project management.
- Experience in managing international development cooperation projects at the national level, including donor-funded initiatives.
- Experience engaging with government entities, donors and external partners.
- Experience developing concept notes and funding proposals.
- Experience coordinating with cooperating partners, UN agencies or other development organizations.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree in International Development, Development Studies, Project Management, Climate Change, or another field relevant to international development assistance.
