Overview

To support effective delivery of Finance, Budget and Administration support services in order to facilitate transparent and efficient utilization of financial resources.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing procedural and technical support in finance and budget.
  • Monitor monthly expenditure forecasts and provide expenditure reports.
  • Monitor sub-imprest bank and petty cash accounts.
  • Verify vendor claims, advances and other receivables.
  • Assist in compiling information for reports relating to budgets, accounting, finance and statistics.
  • Retrieve, format and validate information from financial information systems.
  • Monitor account balances and process financial transactions.
  • Maintain the web-based register for all invoices and payment transfers.
  • Monitor and record all expenses in line with the approved budget.
  • Provide guidance and on-the-job training to other support staff.
Required Experience

Five or more years of work experience in the field of Finance and Accounting. Experience in the field of Public Accounting is an added advantage. Has experience collecting, monitoring and analyzing financial data and reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. Membership in professional accountancy body is an added advantage.
