Overview
To drive the planning, development and implementation of WFP Lebanon's digital communications and content production, strengthening the organization's visibility, donor recognition and engagement with key audiences across digital and traditional media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver specialised communications processes and activities.
- Liaise with the media and other key constituents.
- Coordinate and make recommendations on event planning.
- Provide substantive, specialised support, coordination and recommendations for video/film, photographic and radio projects.
- Monitor traditional and social media, and report relevant information.
- Prepare content for use on traditional and social media platforms and networks.
- Research, recommend and assist with the development of content used on traditional and social media platforms and networks.
- Promote and provide advice on communications guidelines.
- Ensure that relevant information is collected, and maintained in appropriate files and databases.
- Manage a broad range of day-to-day questions and information requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of communications methods and processes.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required Experience
- At least seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in communications, marketing, multimedia or digital production or related fields.
- Strong writing, editing and content development skills.
- Experience managing media relations.
- Experience managing social media platforms (X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other relevant channels).
- Experience gathering field content through interviews, photos, videos and stories.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and performance monitoring.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in Communication Arts, Media Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or any related field.
