Overview

Provide field support and serve as the focal point for monitoring and evaluation related to the implementation of migrant worker resource centres in Tamil Nadu. Ensure continuous oversight and quality assurance of activities carried out by the implementing partner.


Key Responsibilities
  • Work and engage migrant workers and targeted communities on the project.
  • Support the establishment and operations of the Mobile Worker Resource Center(s).
  • Serve as the primary liaison between IOM and the Implementing Partner (IP).
  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
  • Prepare regular evaluation reports, project updates, and briefing materials.
  • Conduct regular field visits to oversee service delivery and gather feedback.
  • Coordinate logistics for field activities.
  • Address operational issues in the field promptly.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Assist in planning and executing projects related to service delivery.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, communications, and evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Strengthen and diversify the outreach and impact of the project.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets to track key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Develop data visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Required Experience

At least THREE years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Law, Sustainability or a related field; or SIX years of relevant professional experience with a High school diploma in the above fields. Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation. Solid understanding of management principles. Handled NGO team for program implementation. Experience in assessing monitoring improvement plan status and progress from labour and human rights assessments. Experience in drafting regular status and progress report. Experience working with Government counterparts, UN agencies, corporates & industries and/or non-governmental organizations is considered an asset.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in the field of Social Sciences, Law, Sustainability or a related field from an accredited academic institution; or High school diploma in the above fields.
