Overview
The purpose of the Program Coordinator position is to improve and sustain the well-being of children and their families by being responsible for implementing ADP Plan/Program Design with partners, including good quality monitoring and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the development of SOP and IPF program annual plan on according to organization standard
- Develop specific strategy for program implementation in ADP level in order to meet organization or donor standard and government policy
- Support Data/Information related SOP and IPF in ADP context for strategy development and planning
- Facilitate the completion of PQSR (Program Quality Self Review)
- Work together with ADP Manager in identifying funding gaps beyond of child sponsorship funding to meet all program funding needs in accordance with the design/AP Plan
- Create interest in opportunities for program in ADP’s within the zone
- Propose SOP and IPF budget for target areas in alignment with ADP Design
- Ensure cost-effective and efficient use of resources
- Contribute to and contextualize national training materials in the implementation and transition phase of ADP’s cycle / APA
- Provide technical advices to ADP team, local partner and cadre (community volunteer) to develop contextual ADP Community and Child Participation Skills on Development Program
- Provide technical advice to ADP team local partner and cadre (community volunteer) in implementation of contextual community-based child monitoring and protection system
- Identify and assess capacity of ADP staffs, local partner and cadre (community volunteer) on programming
- Provide capacity building to field staffs (project/program officer), local partner and cadre (community volunteer) to contextualize community orientation procedures, process and tools and assist ADP to use them
- Serve as a resource on SOP and IPF issues in ADP level
- Internalize and socialize WV core documents to direct reports if any
- Create a Community Learning environment (including children and the marginalized) and encourage communities to share and learn from their own experiences as part of confidence and capacity building
- Ensure that program implementation meets organization and donor standard
- Provide feedback for ADP plan’s using review tools to ensure the integration of SOP and IPF, children and community participation, and other sponsorship critical aspects
- Support achievement of standard quality of SOP and IPF in respective ADP according to DMEAL and CP standard
- Enhancing the use of Horizon/IMPAQ – Sponsorship (desktop and mobile) in designated AP by providing capacity building on it (in coordination with Monev Officer/Coordinator)
- Monitor the deliverance of proper sponsorship information to children, community, partners by AP
- Do proper child recruitment process (local child selection criteria, recruitment plan and resource acquisition, recruitment activities, data processing etc), include to contribute in develop generic criteria for child selection
- Ensure sponsorship phase out process in transition AP (phase out plan, disposal of documentation, etc)
- Submit monthly reports on agreed date that contains narrative and tracking table and analysis of GNOD Sponsorship performance within the region and bring into the findings on child cases to sectoral specialist within the zonal/national
- Monitor and support if there is CP incident within the ADP in coordination and consultation with Sponsorship Unit and, SOP Specialist Zone, CP Unit in NO
- Make sure ADP properly use tools for child recruitment (such as new AP start up tool), child monitoring (such as BP review tool, community empowerment package) and RC Inclusion
- Make sure AP implement SOP and IPF activities according to business process / mechanism and ensure AP’s BP / mechanism is amended when needed
- Contribute on Semi Annual and Annual Report writing
- Communicate effectively Wahana Visi Indonesia identity, mission, vision, values and our approach to work in ways that are contextually appropriate and clear
- Develop linkages/networks and dynamic relationships with all stakeholder that related with SOP and IPF program implementation at ADP level
- Coordinate and consult with Sponsorship unit, CESP Zone and CP Unit in NO in terms of sharing of task in delivering support to AP, technical review and development of concept, and annual plan consolidation
- Coordinate with and mentor operating model partner in ensuring program implementation at district level
- Coordinate with IT to maintain and improve program/project monitoring system

- Create enabling and positive team environment where colleagues are able to develop their spiritual gifts and grow in Christian maturity
- Facilitate effective teamwork, coordination and work planning among coordinators, officers, field facilitators, administrative staff and operating model partner staffs to ensure program implementation as standard and achieved the target
- Monitor the context of target areas on an ongoing basis and recommend adjustments to program plans and management in light of changing context, resources, and opportunities
- Monitor achievement of ITT and budget expense for SOP and IPF regularly at ADP level in alignment with AP target
- Manage all implementations and risks related to Program according to organization policies, guidelines, and standard. This includes risks in fraud, safeguarding, and other related risks.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Coordinator specializing in Community Engagement and Sponsorship/Technical Programs. Experienced in managing Field Facilitators and Sponsorship Officers. Thorough understanding of community engagement programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (S1) in Social Sciences, Education, Community Development, Public Health, Psychology, Development Studies, or other relevant disciplines. Completed DPA/APA and Partnering Training.
