Overview

The role supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of community and youth engagement activities to strengthen inclusive participation in health and development initiatives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of community and youth engagement activities.
  • Support coordination and engagement with committees and platforms working on vulnerable populations and disability inclusion.
  • Contribute to strengthening community-based approaches.
  • Support the development and dissemination of health awareness and risk communication materials.
  • Assist in the implementation of health promotion and community engagement campaigns.
  • Support outreach and engagement activities with youth groups, schools, universities, civil society organizations, and local communities.
  • Promote community participation in public health initiatives and awareness programmes.
  • Support organization of meetings, workshops, trainings, and community events.
  • Contribute to coordination, documentation, reporting, and data collection activities.
  • Assist in identifying innovative and youth-led approaches.
  • Support advocacy and awareness efforts related to inclusion, healthy behaviors, environmental and public health issues, and community empowerment.
  • Contribute to multisectoral collaboration and people-centred approaches.
Required Experience

2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in public health, social sciences, community development, education, communications, disability studies, psychology, international development, or other relevant fields.

Remuneration
Monthly Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA) at the amount of USD 1724.16. Danger and hardship differential: USD 517.24. Entry lump sum (one time): USD 350. Exit allowance (paid on successful completion of the assignment): $120 for each month served, paid on completion of contract. Annual and learning leaves. Medical and life Insurance. Free access to different learning platforms.
