Overview

This consultancy supports the Cooperating Partner Management cycle in partner selection, payments, contracting, risk management, compliance, digitalization, and knowledge management.


Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the implementation of plans and policies by setting clear goals and coordinating processes for budget and programming activities.
  • Review FLA budgets for accuracy, appropriateness, cost containment/effectiveness and completeness.
  • Contribute FLA budgets in WFP’s corporate systems.
  • Support in overseeing and processing Cooperating Partners payments.
  • Support the preparation Project Review Committee for call for proposals and analyze ratings.
  • Analyze FLA/MoU closure activities.
  • Coordinate and consolidate information for the weekly/monthly situation reports.
  • Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders.
  • Supervise, guide, coach and provide training to a small-sized team.
  • Represent the unit at meetings/committees/working groups.
  • Contribute and put together budget plans for cooperating partners that are under-performing.
  • Support onboarding and use of WFP’s digital tools for partnership management.
  • Perform other relevant duties as required.
Required Experience

Exposure to the international arena either by direct work for an international institution/organization; or, if working for a national entity, by way of interacting with international stakeholders.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree or first level university degree with additional relevant work experiences
