Overview
This internship offers an opportunity to develop professional skills in communications within a leading agency on refugee protection. The Communications Intern will support the gathering and production of public-facing content.
Key Responsibilities
- Media monitoring
- Reporting, including Fact sheets and briefing kits
- Website management and content updates
- Support with administrative and logistical arrangements for events
- Content production including video, photography, writing, editing, and graphic design
- Social media management and content generation
- Website editing and uploading of press releases
- Maintain filing system for consent forms
Required Experience
Experience with social media, photography, video editing, or graphic design is an asset.
Qualifications
Recent graduate (within two years of applying) or current student in a graduate/undergraduate school programme from an accredited university or higher education facility; completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in a relevant field. Candidates with previous UNHCR Internship experience must not have exceeded eight (8) months cumulative full-time internship duration.
