Overview

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, monitoring, and oversight of the project, substantively contributing to effective project management through close collaboration with various stakeholders.

Tasks Summary
  • Lead the design of project annual workplans and budgets, ensuring coherence and harmonized implementation approaches.
  • Prepare calls for proposals, organize technical review committees, and conduct partner capacity assessments.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project activities in the field, monitoring progress and resolving challenges.
  • Implement follow-up mechanisms to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partner activities, including site visits and stakeholder meetings.
  • Prepare terms of reference and provide feedback on consultant work plans/reports.
  • Prepare project summaries, conference papers, policy briefs, briefing notes, and donor profiles.
  • Participate in donor meetings and public information events.
  • Provide technical assistance for capacity development of staff and partners on CRSV and identify collaboration areas for survivor empowerment.
  • Identify opportunities for capacity building of staff, partners, and service providers for gender-responsive and rights-based inclusion of CRSV survivors.
  • Provide financial monitoring to ensure funds are managed in line with project agreements.
  • Provide technical and substantive programming support and trainings to partners.
  • Oversee and coordinate technical inputs to programme/project monitoring and reporting.
  • Arrange and carry out monitoring missions with the M&E focal point, followed by reports, using a gender-sensitive, survivor-centred, results-based approach.
Experience Requirements

Experience in project coordination, monitoring, and oversight. Experience in managing day-to-day project implementation with implementing partners. Experience in ensuring appropriate application of systems and procedures. Experience in developing quality control measures. Experience in serving as Secretary for Project Management Committees. Experience in facilitating the work of implementing partners through quality assurance oversight. Experience in maintaining collaborative relationships with government, donor, and civil society counterparts. Experience in influencing counterparts from diverse backgrounds to jointly contribute to project results. Experience in leading the design of project annual workplans and budgets. Experience in preparing calls for proposals, organizing technical review committees, and capacity assessment of partners. Experience in coordinating and facilitating project activities in the field. Experience in implementing follow-up mechanisms to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of events and activities. Experience in preparing terms of reference, reviewing, and providing feedback on programme consultants’ work plans/reports. Experience in preparing project summaries, conference papers, policy briefs, briefing notes, and donor profiles. Experience in participating in donor meetings and public information events. Experience in providing technical assistance for capacity development of programme staff and partners on CRSV. Experience in identifying and pursuing collaboration areas between stakeholders to support survivors of CRSV and their socio-economic empowerment. Experience in identifying opportunities and putting in place actions for capacity building of programme staff, partners, and service providers. Experience in providing financial monitoring. Experience in providing technical and substantive programming support and trainings to partners. Experience in overseeing and coordinating technical inputs to the monitoring and reporting of the programme/projects. Experience in coordinating with the monitoring and evaluation focal point to arrange and carry out monitoring missions.
