Overview
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, monitoring, and oversight of the project, substantively contributing to effective project management. This role ensures close working relationships between various entities and manages day-to-day project implementation oversight.
Tasks Summary
- Lead the design of project annual workplans and budgets, coordinating partners for a harmonized approach.
- Prepare calls for proposals, organize technical review committees, and conduct partner capacity assessments.
- Coordinate and facilitate project activities in the field, acting as the primary liaison for monitoring progress and resolving challenges.
- Implement follow-up mechanisms to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partner activities, including site visits and stakeholder meetings.
- Prepare terms of reference and provide feedback on programme consultants’ work plans/reports.
- Prepare project summaries, conference papers, policy briefs, briefing notes, and donor profiles.
- Participate in donor meetings and public information events.
- Provide technical assistance for capacity development of staff and partners on CRSV and identify collaboration areas.
- Identify opportunities and implement actions for capacity building of staff, partners, and service providers for CRSV survivor inclusion.
- Provide financial monitoring to ensure funds are managed in line with project agreements.
- Provide technical and substantive programming support and trainings to partners.
- Oversee and coordinate technical inputs to programme/project monitoring and reporting.
- Arrange and carry out monitoring missions with the M&E focal point, followed by reports.
Experience Requirements
- Experience in project coordination, monitoring, and oversight.
- Experience in managing day-to-day project implementation with implementing partners.
- Experience in ensuring appropriate application of systems and procedures and developing quality control.
- Experience in serving as Secretary for Project Management Committees.
- Experience in facilitating the work of implementing partners through quality assurance oversight.
- Experience in maintaining collaborative relationships with government, donor, and civil society counterparts.
- Experience in influencing counterparts from diverse backgrounds to jointly contribute to project results.
