Interns will support the United Nations Operations and Crisis Centre (UNOCC) Data Unit in conducting integrated analysis, modelling, and data engineering. The role involves producing GIS maps for various purposes and users.
• Support the team in the production of GIS maps for operational support, advocacy, awareness-raising, and strategic planning.
Relevant coursework in GIS, remote sensing, cartography, visualization, spatial analysis, modeling, geospatial programming, and geospatial data management.
Languages Required: Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
Languages Preferred: Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an advantage.
Contract Duration: 3 to 6 months

Remuneration: UN internships are unpaid. Candidates are required to cover the cost of travel, visa, accommodation, health insurance, and other living expenses.
