Overview

The Analysis and Operations Support Coordinator (AOSC) ensures the smooth operation and high-quality delivery of global security services, including reporting, analysis, incident response, and operational support.


Tasks Summary
  • Lead initial response to incidents or crisis events
  • Support clear and centralized communication
  • Assist decision-making by collecting and analyzing information
  • Assist in the activation of crisis management teams
  • Log incidents accurately
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of VSOC processes
  • Use mass communication systems to issue alerts
  • Track international travelers
  • Monitor global events to assess potential risks
  • Conduct research on global security trends
  • Produce tailored analytical products
  • Ensure quality control for monthly security reports
  • Develop training content on analytical tradecraft
  • Coordinate translation of publications
  • Oversee development and maintenance of SharePoint and filing systems
  • Provide operational support for safety of staff, travelers, and events
  • Coordinate delivery of Travel Risk Assessments
  • Manage travel authorization and risk system
  • Write, edit, coordinate, and distribute travel safety and security guidance
  • Support planning and execution of security measures for events
  • Update Country Office travel advisories monthly
  • Support projects such as workshop coordination or policy development.

Experience Requirements
  • 2-3 years professional experience (or equivalent combination of education and work experience)
  • Experience with administration and general office duties

Qualification Requirements
  • Degree educated in a relevant subject (such as international relations, international affairs, conflict studies, security risk or crisis management)
  • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office 365 products including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Other Details

Languages Preferred: Fluency in English and 1 or more CARE operating languages particularly French, Spanish, or Arabic
