Overview
The Analysis and Operations Support Coordinator (AOSC) ensures the smooth operation and high-quality delivery of global security services, including reporting, analysis, incident response, and operational support.
Tasks Summary
- Lead initial response to incidents or crisis events
- Support clear and centralized communication
- Assist decision-making by collecting and analyzing information
- Assist in the activation of crisis management teams
- Log incidents accurately
- Contribute to the development and improvement of VSOC processes
- Use mass communication systems to issue alerts
- Track international travelers
- Monitor global events to assess potential risks
- Conduct research on global security trends
- Produce tailored analytical products
- Ensure quality control for monthly security reports
- Develop training content on analytical tradecraft
- Coordinate translation of publications
- Oversee development and maintenance of SharePoint and filing systems
- Provide operational support for safety of staff, travelers, and events
- Coordinate delivery of Travel Risk Assessments
- Manage travel authorization and risk system
- Write, edit, coordinate, and distribute travel safety and security guidance
- Support planning and execution of security measures for events
- Update Country Office travel advisories monthly
- Support projects such as workshop coordination or policy development.
Experience Requirements
- 2-3 years professional experience (or equivalent combination of education and work experience)
- Experience with administration and general office duties
Qualification Requirements
- Degree educated in a relevant subject (such as international relations, international affairs, conflict studies, security risk or crisis management)
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office 365 products including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
