Overview

Responsible for implementing HI’s activities under the Unlocking Opportunity Project, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality interventions that equip youth with disabilities with business skills, financial linkages, business kits, and mentorship.


Tasks Summary
  • Lead a team in planning, implementation, and monitoring of the project
  • Coordinate with partners and manage resources
  • Track progress against targets and monitor budget burn rate
  • Ensure compliance with HI and donor requirements
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Steer the project’s intervention strategy and propose adjustments
  • Ensure activities and resources are planned and implement the action plan
  • Ensure project reporting internally and externally
  • Undertake expenditure and manage project budget lines
  • Guarantee proper archiving of information
  • Ensure implementation and follow-up of institutional policies and HI internal standards
  • Ensure compliance with project proposal terms and funding body rules
  • Ensure compliance with global technical standards and norms
  • Ensure project monitoring, specifically activity progress indicators and expected outcomes
  • Ensure quality implementation of activities
  • Develop and implement the project evaluation plan
  • Ensure project accountability to local stakeholders
  • Ensure project learning, taking into account lessons learned from previous projects
