Overview

Responsible for implementing HI’s activities under the Unlocking Opportunity Project, ensuring optimal quality and impact. Leads a team in planning, implementation, and monitoring of project interventions.


Tasks Summary
  • Leads a team in planning, implementation, and monitoring of project interventions
  • Ensures timely delivery of high-quality interventions
  • Equips youth with disabilities with business skills, links them to financial providers, and provides business kits and mentorship
  • Coordinates with partners, manages resources, tracks progress against targets, monitors budget burn rate, ensures compliance with HI and donor requirements
  • Fosters strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Contributes to the development of the programme’s operational strategy
  • Drafts new project proposals
  • Steers the project’s intervention strategy and puts forward adjustments
  • Ensures activities and resources are planned and implement the action plan
  • Ensures project reporting, internally and externally
  • Undertakes expenditure and manages project activity-specific budget lines
  • Guarantees proper archiving of information
  • Ensures implementation and follow-up of institutional policies
  • Ensures compliance with project proposal terms and funding body rules
  • Ensures compliance with global technical standards and norms
  • Ensures project monitoring, specifically activity progress indicators and expected outcomes
  • Ensures quality implementation of activities
  • Develops and implements the project evaluation plan
  • Ensures project accountability to local stakeholders
  • Ensures project learning with a focus on technical activities
