Overview
The Lead QA Engineer will define and execute the Testing strategy for the ShareTheMeal app to enable scaling and maintain user experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing QA team through coaching, mentorship, and regular 1:1s.
- Define and evolve the QA strategy, standards, and best practices.
- Own quality outcomes for all iOS, Android, and web releases.
- Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate quality risks across the platform.
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies spanning manual exploratory testing, UAT coordination, and regression coverage.
- Prioritize testing activities based on user impact, risk exposure, and release timelines.
- Drive the automation roadmap across mobile apps, web, and API layers.
- Measure and continuously improve test coverage, defect detection rates, and testing efficiency.
- Partner with Product and Design teams during requirements review.
- Act as the quality advocate in planning discussions.
Required Experience
At least 5 years of experience in software testing; prior experience with mobile app, web and API testing (manual and automated) is a must.
Qualifications
University degree in Computer Science or related field.
