Overview
Manage the Applied Innovation Sub Directorate, including the Cyberspace and New Technologies Lab and the Digital Forensics Lab. Research, develop, and implement innovative solutions to policing issues.
Tasks Summary
- Lead management and development of innovative approaches for operational deliverables in digital forensics, cyberspace, and new technologies
- Develop and maintain partnerships with stakeholders
- Assess and initiate conversations on monitoring developments in these areas
- Identify and define research needs for law enforcement community
- Manage staff and budget for labs and project teams
- Develop and maintain understanding of cyberspace and new technologies sphere
- Manage experts in applied analysis of emerging crime trends and threats to digital security
