Overview

This role involves supporting the Special Representative UN office to develop cooperation between the UN and INTERPOL in areas of mutual interest. The position aims to improve international coordination against crime and promote INTERPOL's role in global security.

Tasks Summary

• Lead and develop relationships with strategic partners
• Research and interpret policies
• Organize and participate in meetings
• Represent INTERPOL at external conferences, events and receptions
• Prepare and deliver speeches and presentations
• Draft reports of meetings
• Contribute to the implementation of INTERPOL-led meetings and events
• Identify UN activities and initiatives relevant to law enforcement and INTERPOL’s mandate
• Follow meetings, events, documents, reports and resolutions issued by the UN
• Carry out studies and prepare summary reports
• Analyze and identify pertinent information and disseminate
• Draft and negotiate language into legal instruments
• Make strategic recommendations
• Provide timely and sound advice

Experience Requirements

Law enforcement and/or governmental officials within INTERPOL's member countries only.

Contract Duration: 36.00 months

Remuneration: Your home Administration/Agency/Service/Government will be responsible for all of your salary/remuneration, social insurance, pension contributions, welfare benefits, family allowances, benefits during your assignment at INTERPOL as well as travel, removal expenses related to your arrival at and departure from INTERPOL, and any other related costs depending on your circumstances.
