Overview

International consultant to lead the design and development of a competency-based and contextualized teacher training curriculum and manual on Health-Promoting Schools (HPS) for Bangladesh’s secondary school sector.

Tasks Summary

• Onboarding and desk review of TNA report, national curriculum, textbooks, policies, and global HPS standards
• Inception meeting with national expert team
• Development of HPS Training Curriculum and Manual framework, structure, and content outline for a 3-day INSET course
• Drafting and editing of the curriculum and manual, integrating SRHR, CSE, and competency-based approaches
• Design of feedback and evaluation mechanisms for the training curriculum and manual
• Monitoring and data collection from pilot training
• Finalization of the training curriculum and manual based on pilot feedback
• Delivery of Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions
• Fine-tuning and final submission of the training curriculum and manual, and preparation of a scale-up/rollout plan

Experience Requirements

• Experience in developing training curriculum and manuals
• Experience in HPS, SRHR, CSE, and competency-based approaches
• Experience in monitoring and collecting data from training
• Experience in delivering Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions
