Associazione Basilicata Link APS Venti di scambio Volunteer opportunity: Venti di Scambio - Innovation and Creativity
Venti di Scambio is an association of social promotion founded in 2009 thanks to a call from the Puglia Region "Principi attivi". The objectives are: - promote active citizenship of young people; - promote solidarity, tolerance and understanding between different cultures; - create a network both at a local level (schools, associations, administrations) and at an international level; - give young people the opportunity to have a space where they can develop new skills and participate more in community life; - create an increasingly large number of young people interested in European issues; - raise young people's awareness of respect for the environment; - increase youth employment and consequently local development and progress. We have 1 more spot free and we are searching for a creative person who is ready to get out of comfort zone, developing some "crazy" art, manual but also online stuff with us! https://mtv2019.wordpress.com/projects/venti-di-scambio-conversano/ Accommodation, food and transport arrangements The two volunteers hosted in the same moment will live in the city of Conversano. The space is shared by the 2 person. The flat is near to the hosting organization. The apartment is self-managed by the persons who life inside (cleaning, shopping, cooking) and everyone needs to follow basic rule. No party, no guests, personal care of the hosting space. Every volunteer hosted within ESC program receives on a monthly basis pocket money (5€ per day, about 150 euro) and food money (200 euro). There is no need to use transportation, everything will be in walking distance. Training during the activity The activities that the volunteers will carry out are, in short - promoting the NGO activities at schools (middle and high schools) and on the territory, about innovational workshops and EU projects ; - support in daily life activity of CAOS LAB: collect plastic cups at schools and associations to transform them; - support in workshops of 3D design and 3D printing. - documentation of the activities and update the association’s website, social channels; - participate in the training regarding digital competences and development of personal and professionals skills; - personal project Participant profile We search for a person who is very social and wants to interact with various types of people, creative and some art skills, interested in supporting the staff in their main activities linked with innovation (3D design and 3D printing); sustainable development, supporting the staff in the activity of recycling and transformation of plastic; supporting the staff during the workshops in the schools and on the territory; high flexibility; aged 20-30, with a good knowledge of English and minimum basic level of Italian; interested in field of digital tools, art and creativity.
