ZAVOD ZA MLADINO, ŠPORT IN TURIZEM TRBOVLJE Trbovlje, Slovenia Volunteer opportunity: Help in higschool at german classes
Volunteer will spend 4 days per week in Gymnasium and economics highschool Trbovlje under supervision and guidance of a teacher. Their tasks will be: -Speak/train the German language with the students. -Prepare interesting non-formal activities in German language for the students -Present the culture in the school. -Implement one Solidarity activity in the school. The volunteer will help at the youth center and with after-school activities/events for youth (at least 1 to 2 times a week). Opportunity lasts around 8 months. Weekends are usually free (exceptions: extra events, etc..), volunteers get 2 extra free days per month. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements Information on monthly allowance: Allowance: EUR 5/day Food allowance: EUR 126 Reimbursement of food costs: up to EUR 70 (paid upon receipt) Free travel card for public transport in Trbovlje (optional) Apartments in the ZMŠT hostel – bed, corner with a workbench, a shared kitchen, and a bathroom with a toilet. The kitchen and bathroom are shared with a volunteer from the neighboring apartment. Training during the activity On arrival and mid-term training organized by the National Agency. Participant profile We are looking for a German-speaking volunteer to help in high school under the supervision and guidance of a teacher. Motivated to work with students, kind, helpful, reliable, creative, is willing to learn something new and share his knowledge with others.
