Support the implementation of interventions related to locally-led disaster risk reduction initiatives and track progress.

Tasks Summary

• Support implementation of locally-led DRR initiatives, including Making Cities Resilient 2030.
• Support literature review for project proposals, integrating gender and disability inclusion.
• Support development of data and tools to track progress of locally-led DRR portfolio.
• Support drafting of reports, concept notes, policy briefs, and success stories.
• Assist in developing communication products such as print publications, web stories, and social media posts.

Experience Requirements

• Applicants are not required to have professional work experience.
• A field of study closely related to the internship is required.

Qualification Requirements

• Enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
• Enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent).
• Pursuing or have pursued a degree in Social Science, Statistics, disaster risk management, communication, or a related field.

Remuneration: The internship is unpaid. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
