Overview
The WBG Manager, Digital Applications – Solutions and Impact is responsible for leading a team to deliver knowledge for impact, enabling the WBG to achieve its goals in support of its mission. This role focuses on providing guidance and support for digital solutions and their scalable impact.
Tasks Summary
- Collaborate to create an enabling environment for digital applications
- Replicate/scale high-impact projects & innovations
- Share best practices via Communities of Practice
- Provide operational support to regions
- Lead, drive and inspire technical excellence
- Support and advise staff on performance, skills development and career planning
- Ensure department is at the forefront of development debate
- Mobilize and lead Solutions and Impact team
- Capture, scale, and replicate innovations
- Monitor the impact of solutions
- Support country teams to apply global knowledge
- Promote innovative research and dissemination of knowledge
- Lead efforts to collect, curate, validate and disseminate data
- Help clients scale proven solutions
- Design, implement and deliver training, learning and capacity building programs
- Build partnerships and alliances
