Overview
Lead a team to conduct rigorous assessments of and/or review the economic viability of projects financed by AIIB. Provide analytical leadership to project-related economic issues.
Tasks Summary
- Lead the project economics team
- Support investment teams to conduct in-depth cost benefit analysis (CBA) or critically review CBA
- Support impact assessment studies
- Support publications
- Build analytical capacity in project and sector-level economics
- Contribute to research network
- Provide guidance to the team and support junior economists
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant professional experience
- Good knowledge of practices in various international financial institutions welcomed
- Strong knowledge of methodologies of project assessments welcomed
- In-depth knowledge on infrastructure sectors welcomed
- Track record of working in international organizations or international think tanks on similar functions preferred
Qualification Requirements
Advanced university degree, preferably a Ph.D., in economics
