Overview

Develop and deliver in-person and online national and regional workshops related to combating illicit trafficking. Support the implementation of PCCP projects in Southeast Asia and the Pacific.

Tasks Summary

• Develop and deliver in-person and online national and regional workshops on combating illicit trafficking, focusing on tobacco, narcotics, precursors, other illegal commodities, and high-risk passengers.
• Accompany PCCP and WCO staff on missions to recipient countries.
• Develop evaluation reports for training workshops, including recommendations for future training.
• Attend meetings related to PCCP training issues.
• Assist with other implementation activities as a guest expert.
• Support the development of project reporting on delivered activities and encountered issues.
• Complete training materials development and delivery of activities.
• Complete evaluation reports with recommendations for additional training.
• Complete project reporting.

Experience Requirements

• Experience in developing and delivering technical training workshops addressing illicit trafficking, smuggling and trafficking enforcement, open-source intelligence, high-risk passenger and cargo profiling, X-ray image analysis, consignment examination, seizure evidence handling, and forensics is required.
• Experience in the Mekong region and Pacific countries is desirable.

Qualification Requirements

• An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in criminal justice, criminology, crime prevention and/or law enforcement, law, political science, public administration, management or other related fields is required.
• A first-level university degree is required.
