Overview

The Senior Medical Assistant (Data Analyst) will implement migration health informatics and data management services, training, and support for IOM MHACs in Viet Nam, focusing on MHI and data management.


Tasks Summary
  • Implement migration health informatics and data management services
  • Train staff on MHI and data management
  • Conduct duty travel and support MHACs
  • Provide user support for MHI data validation and reporting
  • Assist in developing and maintaining MHI documentation system
  • Gather application requirements, analyze processes and systems for medical applications
  • Participate in testing new software
  • Support input to research reports and health studies
  • Organize Medical Assistants Roster and assign duties
  • Develop and update MHAC’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
  • Supervise and train Medical Assistants
  • Analyze tools pertaining to migrant flow and satisfaction
  • Monitor scheduling trends
  • Prepare medical forms, labels, and daily schedules
  • Ensure reception area is organized
  • Provide information to applicants
  • Propose fraud prevention measures
  • Oversee completion and transmission of medical forms and documents
  • Verify contact and physical addresses for courier services
  • Update MHD information on country MHD Website
  • Prepare and submit monthly statistics on Health Assessments
  • Prepare correspondence to respond to queries
  • File incoming/outgoing letters, reports, and forms
  • Prepare purchase request forms for MHD equipment and materials
  • Perform data management follow-up and create queries
  • Participate in mobile health assessment missions for IT/Database support
  • Provide Database/data processing support
  • Suggest improvements to strengthen internal control mechanisms
  • Provide inputs for new procedures

Experience Requirements
  • Experience in handling e-health records, quality control, and data management
  • Excellent content organization and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of data management principles
  • Certificate in IT/Data entry
  • Excellent Data Management and Analysis experience
  • Knowledge of customer care
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office, statistical and database software packages
  • Previous working experience with NGOs or international organizations is an added advantage

Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in health sciences, Healthcare Administration, Data Management or a related field with at least four years of relevant working experience; or
  • High school diploma with at least six years of relevant working experience.
Other Details

Languages Required: English and Vietnamese (oral and written)

Contract Duration: 1 year with possibility of extension
