Overview
The Fundraising Assistant will support Individual Giving Programmes in the Gulf and MENA region by raising funds from donors and prospects in line with unit objectives.
Tasks Summary
- Raise funds for assigned campaigns and meet or exceed targets
- Research donors and prospects
- Engage donors via calls, emails, and follow-ups to raise funds, steward, upgrade, and retain them
- Create donor journeys from design to implementation
- Support the Donor Care Associate with key journeys for regular giving and upgrades
- Handle donor cases and requests efficiently
- Create surveys to understand the database and loop back insights
- Feed the team with donor insights and feedback
- Utilize CRM and marketing tools
- Promote UNHCR values and ideals
- Participate in team and UNHCR meetings
- Perform other related duties
Experience Requirements
- Minimum one-year relevant work experience
- Previous experience in fundraising or the NGO sector is an advantage
Qualification Requirements
Successful completion of Secondary school education with further studies in Business, marketing, sales or another related field.
