Tasks Summary
- Drives office vehicles for transport of staff, officials, and visitors
- Delivers and collects mail and documentation
- Meets personnel and visitors at the airport, managing visa and customs formalities
- Maintains awareness of traffic, road, security, and safety conditions
- Manages vehicle maintenance, conducts minor repairs, and arranges major repairs
- Keeps daily vehicle logs and assists in maintenance plans and reports
- Tracks insurance and tax formalities
- Acts as a translator in local language when necessary
- Guides and coaches junior drivers
- Ensures steps are taken in case of an accident
- Assists office staff with filing, photocopying, and maintaining stores
- Assists in mailing and distribution of newsletters and publications
- Pays office telephone and other bills
- Assists CO staff with general administrative duties
Experience Requirements
Three years' work experience as a driver in an international organization, embassy or UN system with a safe driving record.
Qualification Requirements
Completed Secondary Level Education. Valid driver’s license.
