Tasks Summary
- Performs day-to-day clinical duties including first aid, emergency care, and referrals
- Undertakes occupational health duties such as medical examinations and immunizations
- Manages health promotion programs and local emergency response capabilities
- Advises on public health relevant to the mission area
- Adheres to quality control mechanisms and UN clinical guidelines
- Provides advice on medical entitlements, disability, and sick leave
- Supports development and implementation of health support plans
- Conducts medical evacuations and repatriation services
- Manages clinical and administrative staff and oversees performance
- Implements UN healthcare facility standards and HQPS requirements
- Supports annual planning, budget preparation, and reporting
- Manages EarthMed medical record system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality

Qualification Requirements
- A first-level university degree that qualifies for registration as a licensed medical practitioner (MD, MBBS, MBChB or equivalent).
- Current unrestricted registration with the medical licensing authority of one of the Members States of the United Nations is required.
