Project Intern

Support the Humanitarian Assistance Unit in the implementation of various projects under the Humanitarian Assistance Team portfolio.

Conduct desk research (quantitative and qualitative) and gather/analyze data for climate change related partners
Provide technical support for training workshops and partner engagement, including research or translation
Provide administrative and logistical support for capacity-building projects, workshops, forums, and events
Conduct desk research on ROK's disaster risk reduction policies and practice
Perform other assigned duties

Experience in desk research
Familiarity with data analysis is desirable
Experience in providing administrative and logistical support for event planning and delivery
Proficiency in office software package (e.g., MS Word, Excel) and data analysis
Experience in conducting research is an asset
Prior experience in an international environment is preferred

Enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent); or enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or graduated with a university degree and will commence internship within one year of graduation
Bachelor's degree in international development, international relations, political or social sciences, migration studies, human rights, or related field
