Support technical cooperation and capacity building for the promotion and protection of human rights in the Philippines.

Tasks Summary

• Support roll-out of activities related to human rights mainstreaming and strengthening domestic human rights mechanisms
• Support development of training modules for international human rights mechanisms
• Facilitate training and provide technical support to national institutions, government actors and civil society organisations
• Assist with research on human rights issues and events
• Develop and maintain contacts with stakeholders and civil society organisations
• Assist in preparation of written outputs such as background papers and reports
• Support coordination of work and administrative functions

3 years of relevant experience

Qualification Requirements

Master's degree in or equivalent in Human Rights; Capacity-Building and Technical Assistance. Advanced higher degree (Master’s or equivalent) in a relevant area, e.g. human rights, political affairs, international relations, law, conflict & peace studies, social sciences, communications or other relevant areas; a first-level university degree or equivalent in combination with relevant training and/or professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced u
