Overview

Support and contribute to the design and development of advanced data analytics and visualization solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of JIU processes. Gain exposure to the mandate and processes of UN entities and the field of oversight.

Tasks Summary

• Support and contribute to the design and development of advanced data analytics and visualization solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of JIU processes.

Experience Requirements

• Proven experience with data dashboards or other visualization tools, such as Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with business communication platforms, such as Microsoft Teams.
• Experience with content management system software, such as Microsoft SharePoint.

Qualification Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent).
• OR enrolled in, or have completed, a second university degree or equivalent, or higher.

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in spoken and written English.

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an asset.

Contract Duration: 2-6 months

Work Modality: Geneva

Remuneration: Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
