Overview
Provide technical and analytical inputs to UNICEF-led child protection systems strengthening and coordination efforts.
Tasks Summary
- Prepare technical input for an inception report and work plan
- Support physical assessments of Family and Child Protection Sections
- Review and validate curriculum plans and training materials
- Support the establishment of the National Child Protection Working Group
- Provide technical advisory support through participation in Best Interest Determination panels
- Provide technical advisory inputs through participation in Detention Center Working Group meetings and monitoring visits
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in child protection, system strengthening, or relevant humanitarian/development sectors
- Familiarity with UNICEF’s CP guidelines and system strengthening
- Prior experience working with national government counterparts is mandatory
Qualification Requirements
University degree in Social Sciences, International Development, or related field (master’s degree preferred)
