Overview

The UN Resident Coordinator System is seeking an intern to provide administrative and operational support for its daily activities. The role aims to enhance UN coherence and programme impact.

Tasks Summary

• Assist in drafting correspondence and administrative documents
• Support filing, archiving, and record maintenance
• Facilitate information flow
• Provide logistical support for meetings and events
• Assist in preparing procurement documentation
• Support the preparation of scope of work and ToRs
• Assist in maintaining procurement and contract files
• Support receipt and verification of goods and services
• Assist in tracking expenditures and budget monitoring
• Support payment request preparation
• Assist in follow-up with vendors
• Assist with HR-related administrative tasks
• Provide general office support
• Support data entry and database updates
• Actively support daily office operations

Experience Requirements

Applicants are not required to have professional work experience.

Qualification Requirements

• Student in the final year of a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), Master’s, or Ph.D. programme, or have completed one of these degrees
• Preferred studies: Enrolled in a bachelor’s (final year) or master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Communications, or related fields
