Overview
Support the development and implementation of programme activities to enhance export and SME competitiveness within the ECOWAS region.
Tasks Summary
- Provide technical inputs and expert guidance on export competitiveness and MSME competitiveness
- Monitor and analyze programme implementation
- Liaise with relevant parties and identify corrective actions
- Support engagement with stakeholders including national governments and the ECOWAS Commission
- Research, analyze and present information from diverse sources
- Design data collection tools and analyze responses
- Contribute to the preparation of written outputs such as reports and studies
- Provide support to meetings and conferences
- Develop training workshops and make presentations
- Participate in or lead field missions
- Coordinate activities related to budget and funding
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and provide insights
Experience Requirements
- Experience in export competitiveness
- Experience in MSME competitiveness
- Experience in programme development, implementation and evaluation
Qualification Requirements
• Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics, international trade, international development or a related field.
