Support the National Agency of the Great Green Wall in Djibouti to implement communication strategies and enhance national-level coordination for the Great Green Wall Initiative.

Tasks Summary

• Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of communication strategies to enhance visibility, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy efforts for land restoration, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods.
• Implement a comprehensive national communication strategy, applying existing regional strategies to the national context and ensuring alignment with GGW regional communication objectives.
• Leverage traditional and digital media platforms to highlight progress, clarify strategic goals, and communicate results.
• Promote data-driven storytelling by integrating scientific evidence with human-cantered narratives.
• Support the establishment, structuring, and operationalization of GGW National Coalitions, bringing together representatives from government, civil society, private sector, media, academia, scientific communities, and technical and financial partners.
• Assist in developing inclusive and functional coalitions that enable continuous, autonomous, and coordinated contributions to GGW objectives.
• Ensure the establishment of a clear and functional institutional framework for the coalition, focusing on mandate, roles, responsibilities, internal procedures, and governance.

• Experience in establishing and operationalizing coalitions or coordination mechanisms.
