Overview
Participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of assigned programmes/projects. Supports partnership development across various stakeholders.
Tasks Summary
- Develops, implements and evaluates programmes/projects
- Monitors and analyzes programme/project development and implementation
- Identifies problems and issues and proposes corrective actions
- Supports partnership development, including identifying and maintaining partner relationships
- Facilitates joint initiatives and prepares inputs for partnership frameworks
- Performs consulting assignments and develops action plans
- Researches, analyzes and presents information
- Assists in policy development
- Undertakes survey initiatives and designs data collection tools
- Prepares written outputs such as background papers and reports
- Provides substantive support to meetings and conferences
- Undertakes outreach activities and conducts training workshops
- Participates in or leads field missions
- Coordinates activities related to budget and funding
- Collects and analyzes data to identify trends and provide insights
Experience Requirements
- Experience in programme/project development, implementation and evaluation
- Experience in partnership development across Member States, UN entities, private sector, academia and civil society
- Experience in data collection using various methods
- Experience in using various research sources, including electronic sources
- Experience in applying judgment, planning own work and managing conflicting priorities
