Overview
Responsible for the implementation, management, and monitoring of activities for the Youth and Trade initiative. Supports the management of relationships with funders and partners, and contributes to corporate reporting.
Tasks Summary
- Facilitate programme/project development, implementation, and evaluation
- Monitor and analyze programme/project aspects
- Conduct basic research and analyze data
- Assist in consulting assignments and action plan development
- Contribute to written outputs, reports, and publications
- Participate in survey initiatives and design data collection tools
- Provide administrative and substantive support to meetings and conferences
- Undertake outreach activities and participate in training workshops
- Participate in field missions for data collection and support
- Coordinate budget funding activities and prepare related documents
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in project/programme management, administration or related area is required.
- Experience working on digital inclusivity is desirable.
- Experience working in tech sector development is desirable.
- Experience working on projects focused in developing countries is desirable.
- Experience working on projects focused in Africa is desirable.
Qualification Requirements
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics, or a related field. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional qualifying years of experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
