Overview
The Office of the Registrar invites applicants for a legal internship to provide legal and policy support to the Registrar and liaise with Registry Sections and Units.
Tasks Summary
- Preparing summaries of important filings
- Researching and preparing draft submissions, memoranda, reports, and correspondence
- Providing support to legal officers
- Undertaking assignments for the Judicial Records Unit and Witness Support and Protection Unit where required and appropriate
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Internship Coordinator
Experience Requirements
No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme. Previous legal experience is desirable.
Qualification Requirements
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent)
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree (Master Degree) or equivalent, or higher).
- Applicants must be computer literate in standard software applications.
