The internship supports the Environment and Development Policy Section in facilitating analysis, development, promotion, and dissemination of innovative policies in environment and development in the Asian and Pacific region, particularly in relation to climate change, pollution, and sustainable resource management.
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Applicants must be a student enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Master’s or PH.D. Programme. Those who have completed their studies at a Masters’ level are preferred. Applicants must have good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
