Overview
This internship involves providing support to the Mechanism Information Programme for Affected Communities (MIP) by conducting research and assisting with communication projects related to the legacy of international criminal tribunals.
Tasks Summary
- Conducting legal research in the ICTY/IRMCT database
- Assisting with and contributing ideas for producing public information products such as videos, social media posts, and online exhibitions
- Assist with social media communication and awareness-raising campaigns regarding the legacy of ICTY and IRMCT
- Assist with media and press clipping
- Drafting correspondence, newsletters, news items, brochures, talking points, and presentations related to the legacy of the ICTY
- Attending meetings and preparing meeting minutes
- Assisting in the organisation of online events such as lectures, workshops, and trainings
- Performing other duties as required
Experience Requirements
No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme. Previous experience in an administrative work environment is desirable. Previous experience with Canva, Adobe Software packages and other similar software is desirable.
Qualification Requirements
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent)
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree (Master Degree) or equivalent, or higher).
