Overview
The role holder is responsible for providing support to the Head of Risk and Compliance, acting as a critical 2nd line of control for the organisation.
Tasks Summary
- Support risk identification and assessment processes, including award risk assessments and facilitating risk management processes.
- Provide support to ensure risk prevention measures are fit-for-purpose, including internal control/mitigation design and expertise for humanitarian incidents.
- Conduct compliance checks/audit reviews to provide assurance on key risk management controls, including implementing annual workplans for compliance spot checks.
- Provide independent reporting of risk, incidents, and investigations, including reporting incidents in Datix and supporting fraud investigations.
- Ensure child and adult safeguarding measures are implemented, concerns are reported, and awareness/capacity building training is delivered.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position within both the commercial and/or NGO sectors.
- Programme experience with strong analytical skills is preferable.
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, Internal Control, Development, and/or related field.
