Overview
Provide technical support to UN-Habitat Jordan for project delivery, including implementing outputs, finalizing reports, and enhancing stakeholder capacities in data collection and analysis.
Tasks Summary
- Provide technical support in data collection, cleaning, and processing of GIS layers.
- Provide technical support in designing and developing robust urban indicators.
- Provide technical support in developing spatial maps, data analysis, and graphic materials.
- Collect and map available relevant data through open sources.
- Plan and deliver capacity-building sessions on spatial analysis tools, data cleaning, and analytical frameworks.
- Compile spatial datasets into a comprehensive delivery package for local partners.
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in urban development and planning, graphic design, geographic information system integration, and reporting in the local context with direct proven experience is required.
- Working experience with international development organizations is desirable.
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelors Degree in Cartography, Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and/or related field of studies is required.
